Exterior of the replica

The exterior of the CM.098A replica is predominantly made of metal. The upper and lower receiver of the weapon are made of aluminum, with the only plastic elements being the grip and stock of the replica. The rail system is freefloat type and offers enough space for a wide range of tactical accessories. There is a standard rail on the top of the receiver for mounting optical aiming devices. The stock of the replica is similar to the M16, allowing the use of large batteries. The replica also comes with a classic sight system, low profile and foldable.

Interior of the replica

Cyma has equipped this replica with a custom metal gearbox version 2. The internal mechanism is made of metal. The CM.098B replica is the E edition and has a speed of 135-140 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs and a faster trigger response. This was achieved thanks to the new parts of the gearbox such as: the V2 gearbox with quick spring change system and an integrated MOSFET. The hop-up chamber is rotary.

Power

The airsoft replica package does not include a battery or a charger for the battery. It is recommended to use a 9.6V battery that can be mounted inside the stock. It is not recommended to use a battery larger than 11.1V as the airsoft replica may malfunction. It is recommended to use high-quality BBs weighing 0.25g for optimal results.
