Short history

Created to replace the well-known 1911, in 1984 it was presented to the decision committee and ranked 2nd in the favorites list. Due to financial reasons, its adoption was delayed by a few years, until the SEAL naval forces demanded its introduction for use. A solidly built pistol for intense use on the battlefield. A useful feature is the ability to disarm the pistol without the risk of accidental discharge by using the special disarm lever.
