Brief History

The rifle Accuracy International Arctic Warfare or simply L96 was designed and manufactured by the English company Accuracy International since the 1980s to replace the Lee-Enfield, which had become outdated compared to existing technology. The weapon itself is designed to operate in extreme cold temperature environments. The original model named L96A1 has undergone improvements over time, changing its name to AW or Arctic Warfare. This rifle has easily impressed users, quickly gaining appreciation among law enforcement due to its accuracy and reliability.

Presentation

This airsoft replica is fundamentally a sniper rifle based on elements from several existing platforms. The receiver resembles those of hunting rifles, the barrel is similar to military models, and the body features a modern and innovative design. Its design aims to provide good maneuverability and stability during operation. The firing system and the barrel itself tend to mimic the series based on the famous L96 or Arctic Warfare, but the resemblance stops there. Let's delve into the details.

Exterior of the replica

The replica has a body made from quality ABS plastic and is secured with screws both between panels and in the receiver. The outer barrel, flash hider, and receiver or cylinder support are made of metal. The replica has a balanced weight due to the well-balanced stock. The body shape is extremely comfortable in most shooting positions. On the upper part of the body, there is a rail for mounting the scope, and on the lower front part, a bipod is attached, providing the replica with ideal stability.

Interior of the replica

To operate, the replica does not require gas, CO2, electricity, heat, impact, or other external power sources. It is manually cocked, a mechanism that loads the BB and tensions the internal spring, generating the air blast necessary to expel the BB. This simple system allows the replica to be used in almost any climatic condition. Low/high temperatures, extreme humidity, and so on. The mechanism of the replica or trigger box is made from ABS plastic and successfully withstands the equipped spring. The pin that holds the piston or sear is made of metal. The cylinder is aluminum, and the piston set and guide are made from ABS plastic. The speed of the replica is approximately 140 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs. Considering the speed, we recommend using heavier BBs. This platform is not 100% compatible with upgrade components intended for official platforms such as Tokyo Marui or Maruzen.

Power Supply

The replica is delivered disassembled, and the package contains all the necessary tools for its assembly. It is important not to rush the assembly process as you risk damaging the threads. Avoid excessive disassembly and reassembly of the replica as this process can jeopardize the integrity of the threads. The package includes the replica, cleaning rod, BB loader, and three magazines with a capacity of 25 6mm BBs. It is recommended to use high-quality BBs for optimal performance.

Do not reuse BBs and do not use low-quality BBs as the replica may malfunction.

Scope and bipod are not included in the package.
