Product Description
Brief History
The Browning Hi-Power is a semi-automatic pistol available in 9mm and .40 S&W calibers. It is based on a design by American inventor John Browning and was completed by Dieudonne Saive at FN in Herstal, Belgium. Browning passed away in 1926, a few years before the project was completed. The Hi-Power is one of the most widely used military pistols in history, having been used by armed forces in over 50 countries. After 82 years of continuous production, the Hi-Power was discontinued in 2017 by Browning Arms, but it remains in production under license.
Exterior of the Replica
This airsoft replica presented is made of metal and has a good finish. The recoil of the pistol using green gas is significant, and the sensation during operation is exceptional. The safety of the airsoft replica is similar to that of the real pistol and can lock the slide in two positions. The mag catch is positioned on the left side, as is the slide catch. The design gives the pistol an extravagant look that will attract the attention of onlookers.
Interior of the Replica
The mechanism of the airsoft replica is made from high-quality metal, ensuring reliability over time. This airsoft pistol does not feature an adjustable hop-up system. It is known that gas-operated airsoft replicas depend heavily on the length of the inner barrel; as the length increases, so does the velocity and accuracy. The pistol's velocity is approximately 85-90 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use BBs weighing 0.25g.
Power Source
The airsoft replica operates optimally with Green Gas; it can also function with weaker gas variants, but it may lose some performance. Under optimal temperature and operating conditions, the airsoft replica is capable of using a gas charge to operate the entire magazine and lock the slide in the position indicating the end of BBs. It is recommended to use quality BBs, and reusing BBs or using low-quality BBs is prohibited.
Maximum performance is achieved at ambient temperatures above 15°C. The airsoft replica should be cleaned and lubricated periodically according to the recommendations in the Service and Care section.
