Product Description
Brief History
P345 was launched in 2004 by Sturm, Ruger & Company. It is a transitional model between the P series and the SR series. The P345 has a radically different design compared to other models in the P series, uses .45 ACP ammunition, and was produced until 2013 when it was replaced by the new SR45.
Description
The presented airsoft replica closely mimics the original pistol's external appearance. The major difference is the non-blowback NBB (Non Blow Back) operation. This principle is simple. When the trigger is pulled, a BB from the magazine is fed into the barrel, and the striker is cocked and released. Thus, the trigger pull is somewhat longer than that of blowback pistols, and the pressure required to pull it is higher.
Exterior of the Replica
The upper part of the replica (the slide) and the lower part are made of quality ABS plastic. Its relatively light and well-distributed weight contributes to maneuverability. The Mag catch operating button is positioned according to the real pistol, and the safety button is located on the right above the trigger. The other buttons, however, are purely decorative. At the front, there is a standard 22mm rail on which a variety of accessories such as lasers, flashlights, or other devices can be mounted. The sights are fixed but correctly aligned and aided by fiber optics for better aiming.
Interior of the Replica
The operating mechanism is extremely simple and practical. Thus, its reliability is very good. Quality metal components are used, making it resistant to wear. The airsoft replica does not feature a BB lift system, Hop-Up, but due to the relatively high speed of 135-140 m/s with 0.20g BBs, the BB has a straight trajectory over a sufficiently long distance.
Power Source
The replica operates with 12g CO2 cartridges stored inside the grip. The magazine of the replica operates separately from the CO2 compartment. To access the CO2 cartridge compartment, the magazine must be removed, and the cover will slide on a rail to the maximum position. We recommend using high-quality BBs and not reusing BBs. Otherwise, the replica may malfunction.
Warning: It is recommended to spray a small amount of silicone oil on the contact seal surface before installing a new CO2 cartridge. It is not recommended to store the CO2 cartridge in the airsoft replica; after each use, even if the cartridge is not empty, it must be removed to protect the seals.
