Product Description
We present the ASG Ultimate U30000 motor. This motor belongs to the high-end category of motors offered by ASG. This series of motors differs from the classic ones in several ways. Firstly, the outer structure is made of CNC aluminum, thus providing significantly improved rigidity and more efficient heat dissipation. The rotor is supported by bearings at both ends, giving it low resistance to rotation when the motor heats up, eliminating the expansion factor of the bushings found in most standard motors.
The motor pinion is very durable, made of hardened steel through CNC machining. This way, its wear is much lower than that of classic cast pinions. However, you must be very careful with the matching of the pinion tooth profile with the bevel gear tooth profile.
The motor windings are made from high-quality copper wire with insulation resistant to high temperatures. Thus, reducing the risk of the insulation melting and short-circuiting the coil. For connoisseurs, the rotor has 16 TPA, which provides this motor with a balance between power and rate of fire.
The motor magnets are made of neodymium and have a thick profile across their entire surface. They are well anchored and provide a constant magnetic field even at high temperatures. However, it should be noted that the current demand increases with temperature.
The motor brushes are positioned vertically and have a thicker profile than those of classic motors. Thus, they will provide much better electric current transfer, consuming less current while also offering improved acceleration compared to motors using classic brushes.
For powering the motor, you can use NiMh batteries of 8.4-9.6V or LiPo batteries of 7.4-11.1V with a discharge rate of up to 50C. We do not recommend powering the motor with a higher voltage as it will negatively impact the lifespan of both the motor and the gearbox.
