Tokyo Marui FN Five-Seven

Brief History

FN Five Seven is a semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Fabrique Nationale d'Armes de Guerre-Herstal, or simply FN Herstal, located in Belgium. The name comes from the caliber of the pistol, 5.7x28mm. This model first hit the market in 1998. Its development dates back to the early 90s (1993) when there was a desire for a weapon capable of functioning with the ammunition used by the P90 SMG. This controversial ammunition can penetrate certain armors from impressive distances. Keeping in line with the P90, the FN Five Seven is made from plastic materials to maintain a low weight, and its design offers exceptional maneuverability. Its commercialization was strictly for military forces until 2004 when public ownership was allowed, but only with non-penetrating ammunition. Today, the FN Five Seven is used and appreciated in over 40 countries, especially by law enforcement agencies.

Exterior of the Replica

The present replica is made by Tokyo Marui to the highest standards and closely replicates the FN Five Seven model in meticulous detail. The exterior of the replica is made from quality plastic materials, and all controls are where they should be. As we have come to expect from military pistols, there is a standard rail on the underside where accessories such as lasers, flashlights, and others can be mounted. The controls are designed for right-handed users. Therefore, the disassembly button, slide catch, and mag catch are located on the left side. A nice feature is the ambidextrous safety, easily accessible with the index finger on the right side and with the thumb of the left hand in a tactical shooting position.

Interior of the Replica

The internal components benefit from Tokyo Marui quality. When used correctly, this replica is reliable over time. Like any other Tokyo Marui pistol, the Five-Seven features an excellent hop-up unit, with BBs reaching impressive distances even at a speed of just 80-85 meters per second, measured with 0.20g BBs. We recommend using 0.20g BBs for optimal performance.

Power Source

The package includes the replica and a gas-operated BB magazine. The replica functions correctly with low gas, 134A or 144A. Any stronger gas may damage the internal mechanisms. We recommend using only high-quality BBs and not reusing BBs as it may cause the replica to malfunction.
