Product Description
Presentation
An exceptional replica from Tokyo Marui. Based on the Colt 1911 platform, incorporating all the safety and operational elements specific to the Colt 1911 in its design, this pistol is easy to use, reliable, and of course, very precise despite its relatively low speed.
Exterior of the Replica
The exterior of this airsoft replica is made from high-quality ABS plastic that is very resistant to wear and mechanical shocks. At the front of the lower frame, there is a utility RAIL where accessories such as flashlights and lasers can be mounted for better aiming. The sights of the replica are made from steel, are not adjustable but are well aligned with the assembly of the replica, allowing them to be used with confidence.
Interior of the Replica
While the exterior is made of ABS plastic, the interior tells a completely different story. The rails, inner frame, and internal mechanisms are all made from high-quality steel that is very resistant to wear, resulting in the not-so-lightweight of the airsoft replica. The powered BBs have a speed of approximately 60-65 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs, BUT... the Hop-Up system manages to provide the BB with a very straight trajectory and a consistent hop-up effect, achieving unexpectedly large distances for such a low speed. The Hop-Up adjustment is precise and does not get out of alignment during use. Accessing it requires disassembling the slide, which is located inside.
Power Supply
The airsoft replica operates optimally with 134A/144A. Any stronger gas can seriously damage the internal components of the pistol. Under optimal temperature and operating conditions, the airsoft replica can operate the entire magazine with one gas charge and lock the slide in the position indicating the end of BBs. To keep the magazine in good operating condition, it is recommended to use a very small gas charge during periods of non-use to maintain the seals in optimal shape.
Maximum performance is achieved at ambient temperatures above 15'C. The airsoft replica should be cleaned and lubricated periodically according to the recommendations in the Service and Care section.
