Short history

Developed by STI International in 2011, this pistol is meant to offer the public a modern version of the classic 1911. Among the advantages of the new model are; an increased magazine capacity, a decrease in caliber from 0.45 ACP (11.5mm) to 9mm, reduced recoil, and a lighter weight due to modern materials. This model is successfully used by law enforcement agencies and by the public for personal protection.

Exterior of the replica

The AW Custom HX2231 is built almost entirely from metal, with a plastic handle. All the specific hi-capa elements, such as the active grip safety and hammer safety, are where they should be, typical of the classic 1911.

At the bottom, the airsoft replica, like the real firearm, is equipped with a 22mm rail that can support a wide range of accessories such as flashlights, lasers, and other tactical devices.

Interior of the replica

The internal components closely resemble those of the 1911, but unfortunately do not fit exactly. That is why we recommend using components specifically made for the HiCapa model. The replica is equipped with an adjustable HopUp system accessible by disassembling the slide. The adjustment is precise, and the final position remains fixed. The ball speed is approximately 95-100 meters per second when using 0.20g balls. We recommend using quality balls weighing 0.25g for optimal performance.

Power source

The airsoft replica functions with green gas. Under optimal temperature and usage conditions, the replica is capable of cycling the entire magazine with one gas fill and, upon depletion, locking the slide in the back position.

For optimal performance, we recommend using high-quality consumables. Do not reuse balls and do not use dubious quality consumables as the replica may malfunction.
