The Specna Arms J-Series™ CORE™ carbine replicas are mainly made of durable polymer reinforced with nylon fiber, making the replica light and comfortable to use. The pistol grip, receiver, handguard with gas tube cover, gas tube, and sight post are made of polymer.

The most important elements, such as the barrel support, screw support, optics mount, barrel, and optics, are made of zinc and aluminum alloy. The dust cover, safety, trigger guard, and stock are made of steel.

Specna Arms J-Series™ CORE™ features very good parts fit, ergonomics, and low weight. In addition, the replica is equipped with the ESA2™ quick-change spring system. A lightweight piston, made of polycarbonate plastic, is equipped with a full steel tooth strip that increases durability. It also uses a cylinder type 0 and a steel switch. The durability of the components allows the use of M140 springs.
