Product Description

The Nimrod LiPo battery consists of 1 cell, stick form. The voltage is 11.1V and the capacity is 1300mAh. The battery technology allows for very small dimensions of the entire assembly, making it possible to mount in spaces designated for very small batteries. The 20C discharge of the battery provides sufficient current supply for the replica's current requirements.

The insulation of the battery is well made, and the cables and connectors are of high quality.

ATTENTION:

  • Lithium Ion Polymer (LiPo) batteries can be extremely dangerous.
  • The user must take all precautionary measures for: potential fire, bodily harm, and damage to property.
  • If mishandled, damaged, or with manufacturing defects, LiPo batteries can produce explosions, fire, smoke, and risk of intoxication.
  • By purchasing this type of battery, the user assumes responsibility for any risks associated with LiPo batteries.
  • LiPo batteries are not toys and should not be left within reach of children as they can pose a real danger to their health.
  • LiPo batteries should not be thrown into fire, placed in an oven, or a microwave as they can explode.
  • LiPo batteries contain/emits electrolytes, toxic vapors, and other harmful chemicals. Handle these batteries carefully and avoid, in any way, contact with skin, eyes, or other parts of the body. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
  • Do not attempt to charge mechanically or chemically damaged batteries.

Actions leading to battery damage

  • Charging LiPo batteries with an unbalanced charger and without automatic charge cutoff.
  • Connecting in series or parallel a cell or another battery even if they appear similar.
  • Exceeding maximum and minimum operating voltages.
  • A decrease or increase in temperature outside the allowed limits.
  • Too high charging current.
  • Short-circuiting the battery terminals.
  • Exposing the battery to mechanical shocks such as dropping, hitting, bending, cutting, twisting, deforming, or puncturing.
  • Contact with liquids.
  • Improvise improper charging installations.
  • Using inappropriate, improvised charging cables.

General information

  • LiPo batteries are composed of cells.
  • The parameters of these batteries are: Voltage measured in Volts (V), Capacity measured in milliampere-hours (mAh), and instantaneous discharge rate (C).
  • Each LiPo battery has a power plug and a charging plug connected.
  • The power plug is used to power the device intended for power supply.
  • The charging plug exclusively serves the purpose of charging the battery (in some cases, charging is done through both the power and charging plug).
  • Charging the battery is done using the charging plug, and in some advanced chargers, connecting the power plug is necessary.
  • LiPo batteries are charged with special chargers designed for LiPo batteries that have the function of balancing the voltage in each cell and automatic charge cut-off.
  • Each LiPo battery has a maximum charging rate of 1.05X of its capacity, which should not be exceeded during charging.
  • Each cell has a maximum voltage of 4.2V and a minimum voltage of 2.7V.
  • During use or charging, the battery temperature should not drop below 0°C or rise above 50°C.
  • For long-term storage, the battery capacity should be somewhere between 15 and 25% of the maximum value.

nrg cannot guarantee that you have used correct methods of operation and followed the charging, discharging, or storing conditions of LiPo batteries. For this reason, we reserve the right to refuse replacement, as a warranty, of incorrectly used batteries (those that violate the instructions and warnings above) and we are not responsible for material, moral damages, or loss of human lives.
