Product Description

The Nimrod LiPo Battery consists of 1 cell. The voltage is 11.1V and the capacity is 1200mAh. The battery technology allows for very compact dimensions of the entire assembly, making it possible to be mounted in tight spaces designated for a small battery. The 20C discharge rate of the battery provides sufficient current to meet the replica’s power needs.

The battery insulation is well made and the cables and connectors are of high quality.

WARNING:

  • Lithium-ion Polymer (LiPo) batteries can be extremely dangerous.
  • Users must take all precautions for potential fire, bodily harm, and damage to property.
  • Improper use, damage, or manufacturing defects can lead LiPo batteries to explode, catch fire, emit smoke, and pose a risk of intoxication.
  • By purchasing these batteries, the user assumes responsibility for any risks associated with LiPo batteries.
  • LiPo batteries are not toys and should be kept out of reach of children as they can be a serious health hazard to them.
  • LiPo batteries should not be thrown into the fire, placed in an oven, or microwave as they can explode.
  • LiPo batteries contain/emits electrolytes, toxic vapors, and other harmful chemicals. Handle these batteries with care and avoid any contact with the skin, eyes, or other parts of the body. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
  • Do not attempt to charge mechanically or chemically damaged batteries.

Actions that lead to battery damage

  • Charging LiPo batteries with an unbalanced charger that lacks automatic charging cut-off.
  • Connecting cells or batteries in series or parallel even if they appear similar.
  • Exceeding maximum and minimum operating voltages.
  • A decrease or increase in temperature beyond permissible limits.
  • Excessive charging current.
  • Short-circuiting the battery terminals.
  • Subjecting the battery to mechanical shocks such as dropping, hitting, bending, cutting, twisting, deforming, or puncturing.
  • Contact with liquids.
  • Using improper charging installations.
  • Using improper or improvised charging cables.

General Information

  • LiPo batteries are made up of cells.
  • The parameters of these batteries are: Voltage measured in Volts (V), Capacity measured in milliampere-hours (mAh), and instantaneous discharge rate (C).
  • Each LiPo battery has a power plug and a charging plug.
  • The power plug is used to power the device it is intended for.
  • The charging plug is solely used for charging the battery. (in some cases, charging is done through both the power plug and the charging plug)
  • The battery is charged using the charging plug, and in some advanced chargers, connecting the power plug is necessary.
  • LiPo batteries are charged using special LiPo battery chargers that have the function of balancing the voltage of each cell and automatic charging cut-off.
  • Each LiPo battery has a maximum charging rate of 1.05X its capacity, which should not be exceeded during charging.
  • Each cell has a maximum voltage of 4.2V and a minimum voltage of 2.7V.
  • During operation or charging, the battery temperature should not drop below 0°C or rise above 50°C.
  • For long-term storage, the battery capacity should be between 15% and 25% of its maximum value.

nrg cannot ensure that you have used correct methods of operation and followed the charging, discharging, or storage conditions for LiPo batteries. For this reason, we reserve the right to refuse warranty replacement for batteries used incorrectly (that violate the instructions and warnings above) and we are not liable for material damage, moral damages, or loss of human lives.
