Product Description
Brief History
One of the most important German machine guns of World War I, and according to many historians, the first machine gun used successfully in war. It was designed by Theodor Bergmann for the "Sturmtruppen," a group specialized in trench warfare. It was noted and appreciated for its reliability as well as its high rate of fire.
Exterior of the Replica
As we have come to expect from Snow Wolf, we have a replica with an excellent quality-to-price ratio. The exterior is made of both metal and wood. The grip and stock are made of wood. The body of the replica gives a solid and well-made feel as you will hardly find any play or tolerances. The fire selector is located at the junction between the wooden and metal parts, near the magwell. At the back, inside the stock, there is space for the battery. To secure the replica, we can use the two rings located at the front and rear ends.
Interior of the Replica
The BBs are propelled by a custom gearbox, with some upgrade possibilities such as gears, piston, and a few other components. The hop-up system is adjustable from within the ejection port, extremely easy to access. The power of the replica is approximately 115-120 m/s using 0.20g BBs.
Power Supply
The package includes the replica and a mid-cap magazine holding 130 BBs. We recommend that upon purchasing the replica, you also consider a battery and a charger for it. The replica is capable of functioning with NiMH 8.4V and 9.6V batteries or 7.4V LiPo batteries. For optimal performance, we recommend using only high-quality BBs and not reusing them. Otherwise, the replica may become damaged.
