This component is manufactured by SHS and is intended to reinforce the front part of the gearbox shell. The use of such a device is recommended when dealing with high power, high rates of fire, or when it is known that the gearbox material is not of very good quality and replacement is not desired.
This brace is made from duralumin and its shape allows for size adjustment to fit most M4 platforms. There is also space for wiring for those M4 replicas equipped with front wiring.
