The M-Tac Norman fleece jacket is suitable for cold weather thanks to the WindBlock material and Softshell inserts. Made of 100% polyester. The WindBlock membrane grid structure is designed for low and extremely low temperature conditions, so that 80% of the body heat is reflected from the surface towards the inside and only 20% (excess heat during active actions at low temperatures) exits the membrane grid. Most modern fabrics with surface polyurethane spray membrane are not designed for extremely low temperatures, as polyurethane hardens at low temperatures, leading to overall fabric stiffening. The consequence of this is the characteristic "rustling" when traveling. The WindBlock thermo-membrane fabric does not use polyurethane spray to protect the membrane, but rather a dense yarn, structured polyester (both inside and outside the membrane), which protects the membrane from the effects of low temperatures, abrasion (both inside and outside) and creates an additional insulating WindBlock layer of air from the inside out.
