LCT PP-19-01

Brief History

The PP19, also known as the Bizon, was developed at the request of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs as a combat weapon for law enforcement forces needing compact firearms for close-quarter battles. Its design was completed between 1993 and 1995, and by 1996 it was already in production. The initial model was designed to work with a cylindrical magazine that often had feeding issues, leading to the final model PP-19-01 Vityaz, which uses vertical magazines. It is still successfully used in Russia and Vietnam and is recognized for its reliability.

Exterior of the Replica

This airsoft replica is manufactured by LCT and represents the PP-19-01 model. It is an admirable toy with exceptional finishes, and the quality of the materials is outstanding. Noteworthy is the manufacturing and assembly method. The airsoft replica is coated with a specific machining oil, eliminating the risk of corrosion during transport while also providing an air of authenticity. All components are assembled with precision, eliminating play between parts, giving the feeling of a solid body without compromises during operation.

The body of the airsoft replica is made from thick stamped steel. The markings are stamped. The handguard and grip are made from ABS plastic. The joining parts of the airsoft replica are made from quality steel, contributing to good durability. The stock of the replica is simplistic and foldable to the side, making transport easier. On the upper part, the cover is equipped with a standard 20-22 Picatinny rail, on which advanced optical accessories can be mounted. To make things even better, the side rail, specific to AK, is in place.

Interior of the Replica

Inside this replica, the heavy lifting is done by a version 3 metal gearbox, equipped with premium components. The motor of the airsoft replica is of the High Torque type, and the installed spring generates approximately 105-110 m/s using 0.20g BBs. The hop-up chamber is adjustable, and the inner barrel has a diameter of 6.08mm; once the hop-up adjustment is correctly set, the range and grouping of the airsoft replica are impressive. The adjustment of the hop-up chamber is inside the ejection port, and to access it, simply operate the false cocking lever.

Power Supply

The package of the airsoft replica does not include a battery or a battery charger. You can use NIMH batteries of 8.4V or 9.6V in mini stick type or 7.4V or 11.1V LiPo, but also round stick type batteries, which will be mounted above the gearbox. To access the space for the battery, it is necessary to remove the metal cover. Do not exceed the voltage of 11.1V 20C as the toy may malfunction. Use quality BBs and do not reuse BBs; otherwise, the toy may malfunction.
