Product Description
Presentation
The PM airsoft replica is manufactured by KWC Taiwan. The PM pistol is a very successful replica of the Makarov PM pistol. A realistic piece of this airsoft replica is the Soviet 9 mm pistol, used as a personal weapon by officers, boat crews, submarines, and sometimes aircraft and helicopters. The weapon originated in the 1950s in the USSR. The main designer is Nikolai Fjodorovich Makarov.
Exterior of the replica
The pistol has a solid construction and weighs 700g. Like the real weapon, the exterior of the replica is made of metal. The metal components include: the main body of the gun, the handguard, and the outer barrel. The grip is made of durable and resistant ABS. The mag catch is ambidextrous.
Interior of the replica
The firing mechanism is extremely simple and practical. Thus, its reliability is very good. Quality metal components are used, making it resistant to wear. The BBs and CO2 cartridge are stored in the metal magazine. The replica is designed to operate with CO2, allowing it to function even when the ambient temperature is low. The speed measured with 0.20g BBs is 105-110 m/s.
Power supply
The replica operates with 12g CO2 cartridges stored inside the magazine. It is recommended to use CO2 for airsoft. Due to the nature of CO2, periodic lubrication of the replica's seals with oil or silicone grease is advised. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use high-quality BBs weighing 0.25g, and the use of low-quality BBs or reusing them is not recommended as they may damage the replica.
