Product Description
Brief History
Created to replace the well-known 1911, it was presented to the decision committee in 1984 and ranked second in popularity. Due to financial reasons, its adoption was delayed for several years until the SEALs requested its introduction into service. A solidly built pistol for intensive use on the battlefield. A useful feature is the ability to safely disarm the pistol without the risk of accidental discharge using the special disarm lever.
Exterior of the Replica
KWC does a good job of replicating the real firearm, but the operating principle is different. The replica does not feature recoil, although the slide can be pulled back to allow for cocking the mechanism. This airsoft replica is made from ABS plastic.
Interior of the Replica
The internal mechanism of the replica is made from plastic and metal and operates with manual action. Cocking the hammer and loading BBs is done strictly by pulling the slide back to the locked position. The replica does not feature an adjustable hop-up.
