Product Description
Presentation
The 1911 replica offered by KWC is based on the design of the real 1911 pistol. Designed in the 1890s by John Browning, it was meant to represent a step forward from the revolvers existing at that time. The project was continued by Colt Industries and after rigorous testing, it was approved. In 1911, it was introduced as standard equipment for the U.S. Army. The pistol was revised in 1924, with minor modifications to its exterior appearance. Since then, it has remained unchanged. After a century of use worldwide, the Colt 1911 remains the most important pistol in human history.
Exterior of the replica
In addition to its realistic design, the airsoft replica also features a beautiful finish. The materials used in the construction of the replica are of high quality. The pistol is made of metal, except for the parts covering the grip, which are made of ABS.
Interior of the replica
The firing mechanism is extremely simple and practical, thus its reliability is very good. High-quality metal components are used, making it resistant to wear. The BBs and CO2 cartridge are stored in the metal magazine. The replica is designed to operate with CO2, allowing it to function even when the ambient temperature is low. The speed measured with 0.20g BBs is 110-115 m/s.
Power Supply
The replica operates with 12g CO2 cartridges that are stored inside the magazine. It is recommended to use CO2 for airsoft. Due to the nature of CO2, periodic lubrication of the replica's seals with oil or silicone grease is advised. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use high-quality BBs weighing 0.25g, and the use of low-quality BBs or reusing them is not recommended as they can damage the replica.
