Product Description
Presentation
The American company Krytac has entered the market relatively recently compared to major airsoft companies but has quickly impressed airsoft players with high-quality AEG replicas. In this case, nothing is different; the present replica is one of the newest models launched by Krytac and represents one of the most sought-after SMG platforms of the moment, the electric version of the Kriss Vector. Although this platform has been on the market for some time, it was previously gas-powered, and airsoft players were eager for an electric replica. The real Kriss Vector was conceptualized in 2006 to provide law enforcement forces operating in confined spaces with high yet controllable firepower. Most .45 caliber weapons have significant firepower but also considerable recoil. The design of this platform significantly reduces recoil, thus enhancing accuracy. Since 2009, this platform has gradually been adopted, and now multiple military organizations use the Kriss and speak highly of the platform.
Exterior of the Replica
The replica offered by Krytac closely mimics even the smallest details of the real Kriss Vector platform. Much of this attention to detail is due to Krytac's roots with the Swiss company that produces Kriss. The body of the replica consists of three parts made from ABS plastic. The lower receiver houses the gearbox and the BB BB feeding system. The upper receiver is responsible for selecting the firing mode and supporting the replica, while the stock is foldable and adjustable in length.
As for the controls of the replica, they are somewhat ambidextrous. The fire selector, separate from the safety, is located at the front, while the safety is above the grip. Both are ambidextrous. The magazine release button is not ambidextrous and is located on the left side of the replica near the magwell. The charging handle is functional and serves to release the ejection port, where the hop-up adjustment is located.
The flash hider of the replica can be removed, allowing for the attachment of a 14mm negative threaded suppressor. There is a Picatinny rail along the bottom and the entire top, allowing for the mounting of a wide range of accessories. There are threaded holes on the sides for additional rail sections. The package includes a classic sighting system that can be adjusted according to trajectory and even folded for use with an advanced sighting system. The options for attaching a sling are somewhat limited; at the back, on the stock, there is a loop that allows for the attachment of limited models of sling straps.
Interior of the Replica
Inside, there is something truly remarkable: a vertically oriented gearbox, similar to the firing mechanism of the real weapon, capable of functioning with many standard V2 components. This aspect is designed to inspire confidence among airsoft players who wish to modify the internals of the replica. However, there are also components specific to this platform, such as the metal gearbox housing with 8mm bearings, the cylinder head, the nozzle, and the tappet plate. The inner barrel is 155 mm long and has a diameter of 6.05 mm. The hop-up system is adjustable and radial. Its adjustment is precise and stable. The battery compartment is located inside the grip and can accommodate certain 11.1V LiPo batteries, but not longer than 116 mm.
This replica is equipped with an advanced MOSFET and is capable of operating in semi/auto and 2-round burst modes, similar to the real platform. The fire selector is designed to disconnect the battery and decompress the spring when set to safety mode. This means that forgetting to disconnect the battery in the replica is no longer an issue. The replica can shoot BBs at a speed of 105-110 m/s using 0.20g BBs. Accuracy and range are good, thanks to the stable hop-up system and the precision inner barrel. Let's not forget the bucking that makes all the difference.
Power Supply
The package includes a 95-round Mid-Cap magazine and a set of sights. The replica operates with an 11.1V LiPo battery with a Deans connector, stored in the grip. There is no battery or charger included in the package. We recommend that upon purchasing the replica, you also consider a specific battery and charger. We advise using high-quality batteries and BBs. Do not reuse BBs and avoid using low-quality batteries and BBs, as this may damage the replica.
