Description

The A1 flashlight offered by Klarus is a budget-friendly option for those who do not want to compromise on product quality. The manufacturer has managed to reduce the cost of this flashlight by limiting the functions to the basics and using a classic on/off button design.

Functions and Modes

There are 4 lighting functions: High-1100 lm, Medium-200 lm, Low-30 lm, and Strobe-1000 lm. Using a 18650 2000mAh battery, the flashlight is capable of providing a runtime of 3.3h on high, 11h on medium, 72 hours on low, and 6.6h on strobe.

To make operating the flashlight easier, the manufacturer has provided a 2-button control. The main button is for on/off and switching between functions, while a smaller button directly triggers the strobe function.

We can always know the battery voltage level with the help of the 4 side LEDs that indicate 100%/75%/50%/25%

The electronic circuit of the flashlight allows charging of the installed battery at up to 1A. Charging is done using the USB-C port hidden under the front part of the flashlight. To access it, the upper part must be gently unscrewed.

Construction

The body of the flashlight is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and is covered with a textured grip for a firmer hold. The manufacturer guarantees moisture protection according to the IPX6 standard.

The flashlight is delivered with a USB/USB-C charging cable, a lanyard for support, and a rechargeable Li-ion 18650 3.7V 2000mAh battery.
