Presentation
This replica represents the SL8 model manufactured by Heckler & Koch. This model is a variant of the G36 aimed at the public. This means that the manufacturer has limited the base platform in terms of ammunition load and firing capabilities so that it can be marketed to civilians. Currently, there are around 9 variants of this platform, each with technical or aesthetic differences. The SL8-6 model is one of the most common variants.
Exterior of the Replica
This replica is manufactured by Jing Gong and represents the SL9 model. This model is a replica of the SL8-6. In our case, for airsoft players, this replica serves as a DMR role. The length of the inner barrel and the fixed stock provide an appearance that leans heavily towards the sniper class. At the front, the replica is equipped with a bipod that will ease the support of the replica when necessary. The top rail allows for the mounting of a more or less advanced sighting device. The design of the stock allows for adjustment with the help of easy-to-install spacers that can be mounted or removed from the cheek area as well as the shoulder.
Interior of the Replica
Inside the toy, there is a standard metal Version 3 gearbox with good upgrade potential. The hop-up chamber is made of plastic and is adjustable. The adjustment is easy to perform and once set, it stays in position. To adjust the hop-up, the cocking lever located at the top must be operated. The inner barrel has a standard diameter, but in combination with the adjustable hop-up, it allows for hitting targets at a considerable distance. This replica has a BB speed of approximately 110-115 meters per second, measured with 0.20g BBs.
Power Supply
The airsoft replica comes with an 8.6V 1100mAh battery, and the compartment for storing the battery is located inside the front handguard. To remove the handguard, it is sufficient to take out the pin from the upper part of the grip. We recommend using a battery no larger than 9.6V as the replica may malfunction. We recommend using high-quality BBs. Using low-quality BBs or reusing BBs can damage the toy.
