The LEVEL 7 jacket is currently the thickest jacket offered by Helikon-Tex to the public. The manufacturer designed this garment with a primary purpose: to provide maximum protection against the cold even in the harshest operating conditions. The secret of this jacket lies primarily in the insulation layer called Climashield Apex. This material is capable of generating and retaining optimal thermal comfort whether it is dry or wet. Besides its astonishing insulation properties, this material is also extremely lightweight, allowing for a significant reduction in the overall weight of the assembly. The exterior of the jacket is covered with a thin layer of reinforced ripstop nylon, which also helps maintain the jacket's low weight. One aspect worth mentioning is the ability to significantly compress the jacket when packed, without compromising its structural integrity.

Functionality

The jacket's pockets include; 2 very large front pockets secured with zippers, compartmentalized and lined with fleece, 1 pocket on the upper interior also secured with a zipper, and two large pockets at the bottom of the jacket intended for drying equipment. On the upper arms, there are Velcro sections for attaching patches or identification badges.

This jacket is equipped with an adjustable hood, also lined with Climashield Apex. The hood can be tightened inside the collar. The sleeves and the bottom of the jacket are equipped with drawstrings for proper adjustment, aiding in the retention of warm air.
