M4 CQB manufactured by G&P designed for Close Quarters battles. This replica is equipped with a licensed LMT rail system and Vltor upper receiver. Overview
As the world modernizes, spaces are becoming increasingly crowded. Thus, the cases where the M4 was the shortened version of the M16 have evolved to a point where the M4 is once again too long, leading to the creation of the M4 CQB with an even smaller size using lighter alloys to allow for better maneuverability in tight spaces.
Exterior of the Replica
At the front, there is a licensed LMT rail system from Lewis Machine & Tool Company that gives the airsoft replica a distinctive appearance. The upper body also features a special design replicating the Vltor series. The final appearance of the airsoft replica is truly unique.
The components of the airsoft replica are manufactured with great care, ensuring that their assembly is very precise, eliminating any play between them. The thread of the flash hider is standard. The dust cover is designed to remain open to provide an additional touch of authenticity. The sighting system consists of a Red-Dot included in the package, which greatly facilitates target acquisition.
The airsoft replica is equipped with 7 quick detach mounting points; 2 at the front of the rail system on both sides, 1 mount on the left rear of the rail system, 2 mounts at the body-stock junction, and 2 mounts at the rear of the stock.
Interior of the Replica
The gearbox of the airsoft replica is version 2 equipped with 8 mm steel bearings of high quality. The interior of the gearbox is very carefully processed; the gears are made of hard and wear-resistant metal, and the shimming is very well done. The cylinder head is also made of aluminum, as is the nozzle, which is equipped with a sealing o-ring. The cylinder is specifically ported for G&P, meaning it is bored out towards the opposite end of the exhaust. The BBs are propelled at a speed of approximately 110-115 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs.
The motor is a high-speed G&P M120 model which, together with a 9.6V and 2000 mAh battery, can fire up to 21-22 BBs per second.
The hop-up chamber is metal and the inner barrel has a diameter of 6.08 mm. The accuracy of the airsoft replica is good, and the hop-up effect is consistent.
Power Supply
The airsoft replica is equipped with a large Deans connector, and it supports 7.4V LiPo or 8.4V and 9.6V NiMh batteries. It is not recommended to use a battery larger than 9.6V as it may damage the airsoft replica. It is recommended to use stick-type batteries that can be stored in the stock tube.
