G&G ARP 556 2.0

The ARP 556 2.0 is an original model, manufactured by G&G, and is part of the Combat Machine series. This series, CM, is designed to offer accessible models while providing high-quality internal mechanisms and the use of the best materials available.

The replica has a length of 600/660 mm, comes with a mid-cap magazine, and weighs approximately 2.2 kg. It is constructed from polymer and aluminum, and the front is equipped with M-Lok rails and a RIS rail on the top, allowing for extensive customization. Indeed, the body of the airsoft replica is made from plastic. It is made of reinforced fiberglass, which many players consider more durable than certain metals used in other airsoft replicas. Certain connecting elements and some components and accessories are made from metal to provide the airsoft replica with improved durability. 

G&G has equipped this replica with a new generation, fully electronic gearbox v2. The trigger assembly is replaced with an electronic unit equipped with micro-switches, designed to offer significantly improved reliability compared to traditional carbon brushes. At the back, there is a powerful MOSFET capable of easily supporting 11.1V LiPo. Besides the significantly improved reliability, the advanced electronic system will contribute to lower battery consumption, a much quicker trigger response, and proper management of internal components, preventing premature wear. The cherry on top is the ability to implement a 3-round burst function instead of the auto selection. The modification is done simply by holding the semi-auto trigger for 15 seconds. Internal components such as gears, piston, spring, and other parts are standard. Each piece that needs to be replaced must be carefully checked for compatibility.
The hop-up chamber is made of plastic and the hop-up adjustment is adjustable. The speed of the replica is 105-110 meters per second, measured with 0.20g BBs. The hop-up adjustment is located inside the ejection port. Access requires actuating the charging lever.
