Simple in both design and functionality, the AK has stood out since its "childhood" in 1947, being easily adopted by most military groups due to its remarkable reliability and endurance in harsh operating conditions. Although the concept of warfare has not changed much over time, practice benefits from slight improvements. Various sighting devices and weapon handling accessories are present on the battlefields. These accessories are mostly mounted on standardized rail systems, allowing for easy transfer of accessories from one weapon to another when necessary. Exterior of the Replica

This replica, manufactured by GFG, features a modern AK platform ready to adapt to unforeseen situations on the battlefield. The body of the replica is made from ABS plastic, while the joining systems and several other accessories are made from metal to enhance the overall rigidity. The predominantly plastic construction allows for a lightweight replica, significantly improving maneuverability and, why not, the user's performance on the playing field. The front rail system can accommodate a wide range of accessories such as grips, flashlights, lasers, sights, and more. The M249-style grip provides a firm hold, and thanks to the adjustable stock, arm length is no longer an issue. The design of the replica is fascinating, assembling with a pin rather than screws, as one would expect from a plastic body.

Interior of the Replica

The replica is equipped with a standard V3 metal gearbox that can be upgraded as needed. The hop-up chamber allows for adjustment of the hop level, achieving good effective range. The replica's speed, measured with 0.20g BBs, is 115-120 m/s. The replica is delivered without the assembled charging lever to maintain a slim profile during transport. Assembly takes just a few seconds and is easy and intuitive. The space for the battery is located above the gearbox, allowing only stick-type batteries to be mounted.

Power Supply

The package includes the replica and a plastic hicap magazine. We recommend that upon purchase, you also consider a battery and a charger for this battery. The replica can operate with NiMH batteries of 8.4V and 9.6V or LiPo batteries of 7.4V. Any voltage higher than 9.6V may damage the internal mechanism. We recommend using high-quality BBs for optimal performance. Do not reuse BBs and avoid using low-quality BBs as they may damage the replica.
