Product Description
Short history
Originally designed for the Italian army and law enforcement, to replace the M951 model. It went into production in 1976 starting with its use in Italy and slowly expanded its usage worldwide. The U.S. army adopted the Beretta M92 SB-F, later called M92F due to its excellent results in the XM9 tests, aimed at choosing the most reliable pistol. Over time, the Beretta M92 underwent several modifications in mechanics and shape due to requirements. The Beretta M9A1 version appeared with the idea of offering the U.S. army an updated version according to military requirements. In general, small aesthetic elements meant to improve its usability. Unfortunately, the model was not adopted but remained in production due to civilian interest.
Exterior of the replica
This airsoft replica produced by G&G copies the M9A1 pistol, replicating both its exterior appearance and functionality. It is entirely made of metal with ABS plastic grips, offering an authentic feeling during operation. The recoil produces a metallic sound and has a considerable power. At the front, there is a rail where tactical accessories like lasers or flashlights can be mounted. The safety is ambidextrous, located above the handle behind the grip panel. On the right side, there is a button for releasing the magazine, mag catch.
Interior of the replica
The airsoft replica's operating mechanism is made of metal, offering good long-term reliability. The HopUp is precise and consistent, properly adjusted. Its adjustment is made using the dial mounted on the chamber after disassembling the slide. The replica is capable of firing 0.20g BBs at a speed of 95 - 100 m/s.
Power source
In the package, there is a magazine that works optimally with Green Gas, but it can also function with weaker gas variants, although stronger ones can cause damage. It is recommended to use 0.25g BBs for optimal performance and not to reuse low-quality BBs, as this could damage the replica.
The maximum performance when using Green Gas is achieved at ambient temperatures above 15°C.
