Product Description
Overview
If your desire to practice airsoft is strong but your budget is small, try the 520 series offered by Cyma. It is one of the cheapest models offered by this company, but it will give you the opportunity to practice airsoft alongside the most expensive toys.
Exterior of the Replica
A large part of this replica is made from ABS plastic, including the body, handguard, stock, grip, and other small external elements. However, the outer barrel is made of metal. Due to the easily identifiable platform, the controls are simple and intuitive. The fire selector on the right side has 3 positions: safe-auto-semi, and inside the ejection port, you will find the hop-up adjustment. The fact that it is made of plastic does not necessarily represent a disadvantage. The total weight of the replica is extremely low, making it suitable for individuals with back issues or those in poorer physical condition.
Interior of the Replica
The Hop-Up adjustment is located inside the ejection port; this adjustment is linear and precise. The Hop-Up chamber is made of ABS plastic, which should not be a concern, as the molding quality is very good, ensuring no issues with BB feeding. The accuracy and consistency of the airsoft replica are good.
The gearbox is version 3, known for being a durable version. Of course, it is also made of metal, as are the gears. The piston, piston head, and cylinder head are made of polycarbonate. The BB speed is between 120 and 125 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. We recommend using 0.25g BBs for optimal performance.
Power Supply
The space allocated for the battery is inside the stock and is considerably large. You can use NiMH 8.4V or 9.6V batteries and even 7.4V LiPo. No larger. For optimal performance, use only high-quality consumables.
