Product Description
Brief History
The AK47 appeared on the battlefield in 1948, with the concept being developed in the last year of World War II. From the very first moment until today, this weapon has managed, through its robustness, reliability, and simplicity, to become one of the most versatile weapons of the century. Designed to incorporate the best aspects of the most renowned weapons of the time, it is still successfully used today without major interventions on its operating system.
Exterior of the Replica
The replica is manufactured by Cyma and imitates the first generation of the AK47 model. Its body is made of metal, while elements such as the handguard, stock, and grip are made of wood. The platform's design is similar to T.M., featuring a center joint with 4 screws. A simple design meant to facilitate any internal intervention. Similar to the real weapon, the fire selector is on the right side and has 3 positions: safety, full-auto, and semi-auto. The sights are adjustable, and to secure the replica with a sling, the 2 mounting points on the left side of the replica can be used.
Interior of the Replica
The Hop-Up adjustment is located inside the ejection port. This adjustment is linear and stable. The gearbox is version 3, known for its durability. The internals of the replica are standard, allowing for any future modifications. The BB speed is between 125 and 130 meters per second, measured with 0.20g BBs. We recommend using 0.25 or 0.28g BBs for optimal performance.
Power Supply
The space allocated for the battery is inside the stock and can accommodate fairly large batteries. The replica does not come with a battery or a charger. We strongly recommend that upon purchasing the replica, you also consider getting a battery and a charger for it. The replica can operate very well with an 8.4V or 9.6V NiMh battery and even a 7.4V LiPo. Do not use 11.1V LiPo batteries as they may damage the replica. We recommend using high-quality BBs and not reusing BBs, as this may cause damage to the replica.
