Cyma 1911 Electric CM.123 Tan

This replica manufactured by Cyma initially appears to be an authentic 1911 pistol, but upon first contact, we realize that something is not quite as expected. This is due to the fact that it is an electric-operated pistol. Instead of internal mechanisms and gas storage compartments, there is a miniature electric gearbox capable of propelling the BBs in both semi-automatic and automatic fire modes.

Exterior of the Replica

The exterior of the airsoft replica is constructed from quality ABS plastic and metal for the slide. To select the firing mode, we will use the fire selector represented by the hammer safety. Of course, this safety no longer serves any real safety purpose in our case. The two positions of the selector are: auto and semi-auto. The slide of the replica does not move in any way; it is actually a cover. To remove it, the button that normally serves as the slide catch must be pressed. The safety of the pistol is similar to that of the real 1911. Behind the grip, there is a lever that, if not pressed, will prevent the pistol from being operated. The pistol's magazine is small and slim, totally unrealistic but with a significant advantage: it can hold 30 6mm BBs. The 100-round magazine designed for the Glock 18C AEP is perfectly compatible with the 1911 AEP manufactured by Cyma.

Great attention. This AEP model is considerably wider than the real firearm and gas-operated replicas. Rigid holsters for the pistol will not accommodate this pistol. It is recommended to use a universal or adjustable holster.

Interior of the Replica

Once the slide is removed, we can observe the space designated for the battery and the mechanism for facilitating the installation/removal of the battery as well as the hop-up adjustment. The airsoft replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system, thus increasing the effective range despite the low speed of 50-55m/s measured with 0.20g BBs. Of course, it is recommended to use 0.20g BBs for optimal performance.
