Brief History
CZ P-09 represents the modern variant of the famous CZ 75, which has made a name for itself over the years through reliability and good performance. This pistol has been manufactured by CZ-UB, located in the Czech Republic, since 2009. The P-09 is a medium-sized, versatile platform designed to provide both law enforcement and the civilian public with a simple and easily transportable and manageable pistol. The internal mechanism has been completely rethought compared to the original CZ 75, offering superior performance, while the exterior has undergone design modifications aimed at providing a significantly improved grip.
Exterior of the Replica
This replica is manufactured by Action Sport Games or simply ASG and closely copies the details of the real weapon, being produced under license. The pistol features blowback, just like the real firearm, so it self-cocks with each shot. Similarly to the real firearm, the slide is made of aluminum while the grip is made of ABS plastic. At the front, there is a standard rail that allows for the attachment of various electronic devices such as lasers, flashlights, or others. The trigger guard is large enough to allow manipulation of the airsoft replica while wearing winter gloves. The operation buttons such as the mag catch and slide catch are found only on the left side. The safety, however, is ambidextrous. On the top, there is a system for mounting reflex sight devices. The outer barrel is equipped with a 14mm counter-clockwise thread, protected by a metal cap.
Interior of the Replica
As we can expect from ASG, the internal mechanisms are made of quality metal, designed and redesigned to provide long-term reliability. However, let’s not forget that the best friend of GBB pistols is silicone oil. The more often we lubricate it, the better. The hop-up system is accessible by disassembling the slide, but once set, it will remain in position. The power of the replica is between 100-105 m/s with 0.20g but can vary even more depending on environmental conditions.
Power Source
The replica is capable of functioning with both gas and CO2 magazines. In this case, it is delivered with a CO2 magazine. This option will allow you to use the pistol even when the ambient temperature is lower, around 5-10 degrees. If you want to avoid issues with this toy, we strongly recommend using only high-quality consumables and not reusing airsoft BBs, as otherwise, the replica may wear out prematurely and even break.
