The ASCU, or Airsoft Smart Control Unit, is fundamentally an advanced MOSFET capable of providing electric airsoft replicas with enhanced control and reliability. How does this MOSFET provide this added comfort and reliability? By replacing the entire electrical system.

Starting from the beginning, this control unit establishes the connection between the consumer and the power source as safely as possible. Let’s analyze the processes that improve overall performance.

The classic contact made of brass blades is replaced with a micro switch that activates a series of high-power MOSFETs, eliminating current loss generated by the closure of the traditional contact.

The classic interruption module generating the semi-automatic function, composed of a cut-off lever and a movable carbon brush, has also been replaced with a micro switch capable of sensing the slightest movement of the cut-off lever, thus indicating that it is time for the assembly to stop.

With the installation of the ASCU unit, the replica no longer requires a travel distance of 4-6 mm to complete its operational cycle; 1-2 mm is sufficient to command the control unit, providing enhanced control and comfort to the user. Regardless of the speed of the trigger pull, the gearbox will complete a full cycle before stopping.

Thanks to the "fine" control of the commands, the gearbox can operate within optimal parameters. The sector gear will stop exactly in the position it needs to be, thanks to the active braking feature of the module. It is true that this MOSFET requires powerful motors to function correctly, specifically to brake the entire assembly effectively.

With the installation of the ASCU unit, an anti-reverse is no longer necessary. Due to active braking, the piston will remain at its furthest point after each shot, keeping the spring in optimal condition and eliminating the risk of the gearbox being left under tension. The trigger safety is also no longer necessary.

Once the battery no longer has sufficient voltage to operate the ASCU gearbox, it cuts off the power supply to prevent battery damage. If something malfunctions inside the gearbox and the ASCU detects an increase in load, it also cuts off the power supply to prevent further damage.

The ASCU control unit can be programmed to provide different firing modes based on needs.
