Frequently Asked Questions
We live in a world surrounded by asphalt, concrete, buildings, and other "man-made" structures that reduce the space where armed battles take place. To easily cope with these types of engagements, we recommend the M45X S model offered by Ares. This airsoft replica mimics a PDW or "personal defense weapon" chambered in .45ACP, and not only does it have extremely compact dimensions, but it also disassembles, folds, and shortens until you can barely recognize what's there. Thus, you can transport it easily and always have a shoulder-supported automatic weapon at hand. Not that an airsoft gun has much recoil, but it looks fantastic...

Product Description
Unlike most manufacturers, Ares truly strives to provide players with new replicas and various interesting technologies. Such as this PDW M45X S. The replica somehow copies a concept rather than a specific real-life weapon. The concept suggests that we are discussing a short replica and, moreover, one that is disassemblable, making it even shorter during transport. This replica implies that it uses the .45ACP caliber, which is evident from the thickness of the magazine. In any case, the weapon looks stunning and functions at least as well as it looks, meaning very well. Ares has ensured to equip the replica with the renowned gearbox featuring an electronic trigger unit.
Exterior of the Replica
The body of the replica is made of metal, as is the front and the stock tube. Elements such as the grip and stock are made from plastic material. Essentially, there is a resemblance to the classic M4, so the controls are "at hand" for those familiar with this platform. To recap; the magazine release button is on the right side, right by the index finger. The fire selector is ambidextrous, and the hop-up adjustment is inside the ejection port.
And now for the less obvious but extremely interesting part. The front of the replica can be disassembled by pressing a simple button, and the stock folds to the left side of the replica. The space for the battery is inside the stock tube; therefore, when it is folded, the replica does not function.
Finally, addressing the obvious features; the replica is equipped with a set of adjustable and removable sights, and the length of the stock is adjustable. Above the grip, there are attachments for the sling.
Interior of the Replica
The gearbox is the classic EFCS, almost version 2, equipped with an advanced mosfet unit. Nowadays, all components are made from various metal alloys, ensuring excellent durability. Steel gears, steel-toothed piston, high torque motor, precision barrel... a complete package, as they say. The energy is only 0.8J, thanks to the extremely short barrel of just 150 mm.
Power Supply
The manufacturer not only allows but also recommends using 11.1V LiPo batteries. This is not included in the package, so it will need to be purchased separately. Let's not forget a LiPo battery charger as well. However, the package does include 2 magazines; one small with 55 BBs and one large with 125 BBs. Probably to see which one we like better and to know what to buy next regarding magazines. We recommend using high-quality consumables.
