APS WAU-A4

The KU-A4 airsoft replica offered by APS represents a special model that comes with a 1.5X magnification adjustable scope and a short barrel. The platform has been designed for CQB use. In 2013, APS introduced a new "KU" series, which includes 5 variants. Each weapon in this series is equipped with a V3 Gearbox that comes with a quick change spring system.

Exterior of the replica

Each replica in the "KU" series is designed with a 2-stage trigger. Pulling the trigger halfway produces semi-automatic fire, while pulling the trigger all the way back produces fully automatic fire. Each replica also includes a safety mechanism located above the grip. In its "safety" position, the trigger is mechanically disabled. Pressing the safety button on the left side will indicate a red point signaling that the replica is ready to fire. Each weapon in the "KU" series has been designed with 4 side Picatinny rails. This provides the user with the ability to mount various accessories on the weapon. The body of the weapon is covered with a textured grip to enhance maneuverability.

The receiver of the replica is made of metal, while the stock, grip, and magazine are made of ABS plastic.

The Bullpup design gives the weapon a shorter overall length while maintaining an impressive barrel length of 410 mm. This allows for improved maneuverability and reduced weight. The KU replicas are equipped with an ambidextrous QD support system.

Interior of the replica

The gearbox of the KU-A4 replica is made of metal, providing extended durability. With the V3 Gearbox that includes a quick change spring system, the user will be able to easily change the main spring without disassembling the replica. The inner barrel has a diameter of 6.08 mm. The gearbox is equipped with 8 mm bushings, thus improving reliability. The replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system. The speed of the replica is 115-120 meters per second, measured with 0.20g BBs.

Power Supply

We recommend using an 8.4V Ni-MH or 7.4V LiPo battery. We do not recommend using a battery larger than 9.6V, as the airsoft replica may malfunction. We recommend using quality BBs weighing 0.25g for optimal results. We advise against reusing BBs or using low-quality BBs as it may cause the replica to malfunction.
