Product Description
The tracer is used to illuminate phosphorescent BBs, and the effect of phosphorescent BBs at night is truly remarkable. It can be likened to the tracers of real firearms. The principle of operation is simple. Inside this suppressor, there is an electrically powered system equipped with very powerful UV LEDs, which activate for just a fraction of a second, exactly the time needed for the phosphorescent BB to glow at its maximum.
The Blaster model is equipped with an external lighting system that turns on when firing, similar to the fire of a real firearm. This tracer unit allows for the use of 3 firing modes: tracer only, tracer with flash, or just flash.
The device is compact, measuring 96 mm in length and 39.2 mm in diameter. The thread is 14 mm CCW (counter-clockwise), and included is an adapter with a 11 mm CW (clockwise) thread. The body of the suppressor is made from aluminum, making it wear-resistant, and the cap is also aluminum.
To ensure the fun doesn't stop when it rains, Acetech has made this device IP64 resistant.
Operation
The operation of this device is extremely simple once understood. It is turned on using the small button under the cap, and it automatically turns off after a period of inactivity. The advantage of this device is the use of UV light to ignite the BBs. The disadvantage of UV light is that it can only properly ignite green-colored BBs. The built-in battery has a very long autonomy and charges via a micro-USB cable.
