Brief History

CIRAS stands for Combat Integrated Releasable Armor System and is a modular protection system specially designed for the American special forces by Eagle Industries. The design of this vest model originated from the AAV FSBE QR model and retained the quick-release concept. In addition to the previous model, this vest allows for the attachment of a wide variety of protections and armor, leaving room for the addition of other accessories and protective elements.

There are 2 versions of CIRAS: LAND and MARITIME. The difference lies in the attachment method of the platform and the location of the vest's quick-release system; in the LAND version, the attachment is at the front and the quick-release handle is located at the lower side of the vest, while in the MARITIME version, the attachment is lateral and the quick-release handle is located at the upper front of the vest.

Description

Manufactured by 8Fields, this vest closely replicates the CIRAS MARITIME model. At its core, it is a soft platform on which a multitude of accessories and pouches can be attached. The vest is made from high-quality 600D nylon, which is highly resistant to wear and moisture. The attachment and securing systems are made from durable plastic. Inside, the lining has a texture that ensures good ventilation of the body, effectively eliminating excessive heat. The size of the vest is adjustable at both the shoulders and around the waist.

The package includes: 5 magazine pouches for the main replica, an admin pouch, a flashlight pouch, a radio pouch, and a utility zippered pocket. This vest is equipped with a quick-release system, and the operation is similar to that of the original vest, located at the upper front of the vest.
