Nimrod LiPo 7.4V 1500mAh compact Deans battery

This Nimrod battery is a LiPo type and is composed of 2 cells that make up a compact assembly. It has a voltage of 7.4V and a capacity of 1500mAh. The battery technology allows very small dimensions of the entire assembly, making it suitable for mounting in spaces designed for very small batteries. The 65C discharge rate of the battery allows optimal current delivery for the current needs of the replica.

The insulation of the battery is well done and the cables and connectors are of high quality. This battery is equipped with a Deans connector.

Actions that lead to battery damage

• Charging LiPo batteries with unbalanced chargers and without automatic charging cutoff.
• Connecting in series or in parallel a cell or another battery even if they appear to be similar.
• Exceeding maximum and minimum operating voltages.
• A decrease or increase in temperature beyond the permissible limits.
• Too high charging current.
• Short circuiting the battery terminals.
• Exposing the battery to mechanical shocks such as dropping, hitting, bending, cutting, twisting, deforming, or puncturing.
• Contact with liquids.
• Using an inappropriate charging setup.
• Using improper or improvised charging cables.

General Information

• LiPo batteries are made up of cells.
• The parameters of these batteries are: Voltage measured in Volts (V), Capacity measured in milliampere hours (mAh), and instantaneous discharge rate (C).
• Each LiPo battery has a power connector and a charging connector attached.
• The power connector is used to power the device being powered.
• The charging connector is exclusively used for charging the battery. (In some cases, charging can be done through both the power and charging connectors)
• Charging of the battery is done using the charging connector, and in some advanced chargers, connection of the power connector is required.
• LiPo batteries are charged with special chargers for LiPo batteries that have functions for balancing the voltage in each cell and automatic charging cutoff.
• Each LiPo battery has a maximum charging rate of 1.05X the battery capacity, which should not be exceeded during charging.
• Each cell has a maximum voltage of 4.2V and a minimum voltage of 2.7V.
• During use or charging, the battery temperature should not fall below 0°C or rise above 50°C.
• For long-term battery storage, the battery capacity should be between 15 and 25% of the maximum value.
